Major Events in May and June 2012

BTC is participating in a number of major events in May and June of 2012. Starting with Cebit Australia 22-24 May (http://www.cebit.com.au) where BTC will have a stand on the NSW Government pavilion as recognition of our work with the NSW Govt Mobile Concierge program. BTC will be showcasing our latest release of BTCDashboard , and some integration to a number of back end systems.  Drop by and visit us!

To make Cebit even more exciting, BTC has been nominated as a finalist (from lots of entries) in the Service Distinction category of the Cebit Awards.  Thanks to all of those who have supported us in getting there - its a privilege to be there with the other finalists.

In conjunction with Cebit, BTC is also exhibiting and participating as a sponsor at the Optus Vision 2012 event for Optus customers and partners (https://1.optusbusiness.com.au) this event being held on Thursday 24th May. BTC helped Optus create the app for the event on iOS, Android and Blackberry and is sponsoring the drinks session (most important part). Registration is free.

Lastly BTC has confined that we will be taking part in CommunicAsia show in Singapore (http://www.communicasia.com) from 19th till 22nd June at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. This is something special for us and we will be showcasing a number of our solutions both at our booth as well as in a series of special technology briefings, Want to meet us there? BTC Launches Japanese version of Dashboard Push server site

UPDATE:- we have now added both Chinese,Spanish, and Russian support. Hope to add another set of languages in the next few weeks.

Having had a Japanese localisation for a while on the BTCDashboard app for iOS, its great to now have a fully localised Japanese language version of the Dashboard push server. Check out some screenshots below - and its cleaver, it will automatically know your language choice from your browser settings, but will also allow each user to set their own language in the User config page.

BTCDashboard V2.1 On the AppStore

Great news for Dashboard fans, v2.1 has now been approved by Apple and is now available on the App Store.

V2.1 adds a series of fantastic new features including;

- secure USB syncing
- new UI tweaks (unread by channel, and more)
- increased performance
- and links to the new Mac uploader .....

BigTinCan at the Internet and Mobile Show

BTC is at the Internet and Mobile Show in Singapore this week. Its a great show with lots of visitors. Check out some photos here. We have a small (but lovely) booth and are showing the latest version of BTCDashboard live.

Dashboard Sharepoint integration for easy content syncing to mobile devices

Got Sharepoint? Need Dashboard? Read on!

"But I've already spend money, invested time and been trying to get my users to use the Sharepoint system we have in place - and now all they want is to use Dashboard to distribute documents - help!"

Is a common message we get from our large (and some not so large) customers.

Its been a big dilemma for IT - how do they maximise the ROI and usage of Sharepoint whilst still letting people use BTCDashboard to delver docs and other content from the network server or even local hard drive.

Now BTC announces our Sharepoint support. - do check out the website at the link and let us know if you think its gets the point across.

With Sharepoint integration you can now selectively choose which content from Sharepoint to dynamically sync or just upload to BTCDashboard.  The system has been designed to allow you to keep your existing Sharepoint workflow whilst ensuring that users actually get pushed content to their mobile devices that fits right together with the existing BTCDashboard content.

From Sharepoint you can publish files, HTML content, and text and choose to sync files so that changes made on the Sharepoint side are replicated on the BTCDashboard system.

Sharepoint itself is something that requires a considerable amount of customisation, and whilst BTCDashboard Sharepoint integration tools can't eliminate that work, they can let Sharepoint do more of what its good at - centralised internal document and content storage - whilst freeing the users to work with the power of BTCDashboard on their mobile device.

We are releasing the Sharepoint support as a FREE toolkit that can be integrated by BTCDashboard customers and it also comes with some handily integration tools that help to make the implementation as easy as possible.

BigTinCan at Planet of the Apps Singapore

Great news - BTC is now going to be part of the “Planet of the Apps” show, which will take place from 25-27^th April, at SUNTEC City Expo Hall 4 - Singapore.

Its a great chance for us to meet those of you in Singapore and throughout Asia who will be coming to this great event. 

We will also be slated to speak in one of the speaking slot on 25^th APRIL
